Private messages are nice if you are selling something and you give directions to somebody. You probably don't want everybody knowing the directions to your house. On other forums with more members and alot more post, they are allowed. It may be so people don't PM back and forth aother competing websites. I could understand not wanting that to happen.

Thry should enable the e-mail portion. If someone want sot be e-mailed and peovide there address, this s/b allowed. They only end up posting it in reply section anyway.
