prizm protein skimmer

I currently set up a 38 gal. tank and now I'm ready to purchase my protein skimmer. I was thinking of getting the Prizm protein skimmer. Can anyone give some information on how well this skimmer works? Also do you have any suggestions on possibly a diffrent skimmer around $100 that might would work better? Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have this skimmer and like it. Some say it is noisy but i dont think that it is. It does feel kind of cheap though but for the price ($70) I don't think that you can beat it. I think it would work great on a tank your size. You might also want to look at some of the newly designed sea clone skimmers.

A friend is running the prizim and it seems to work very well..

I have a prizm on my twenty and it works well. I had Red Sea send me the new 18 blade impeller that is a little quieter.

happy with it. The only skimmer people seem
to recommend under $100

The prizm is great and I have a 75. Just make sure you buy it online. You can get it for around $70 online compared to $130 in any store I have seen.
