My temperature in my tank grows from 74 in the morning (before lights) to 79 in the evening. Is this ok? how can I stabilize my temperature? I've adjusted the heater and the light schedule, but this does not seem to help>
problem stabilizing temperature! Help!

if 79 is the hottest it ever gets, then set your heater to 79. Then it will always stay 79

What kind of tank? Fluctuating temp in my tank caused ick.

How big is yur tank? How big is your heater? Also do as I did. Make sure the AC vent is not pointing right on your tank! I have 2 heaters in my tank. One stays at 82 and generaly keeps it there. However my second heater is set at 76. The temp gets close to that it kicks it on.
