Problem w/ Prizm Skimmer

I recenly purchased a prizm skimmer and i have a problem with my glass top. The inlet pipe on the skimmer sticks out too much and the top no longer fits currectly. Does anyone else have the same problem? If so please let me know what you did.

I don't know of anything that you can do to remedy this. I bought a prizm because it didn't take up as much tank space as others. I don't use my glass top anymore, but the inlet pipe still interferes slightly with my hood. I suppose you could cut the pipe and attach an elbow and down pipe made of pvc.

Just push the unit back from the tank as far as it will go, and put a spacer between the unit and the back of your tank. A piece of wood works well. Then tighten the plastic screw. The space you gain on the tank side, you lose on the outside though.
