Problem with Firefish!

Approximately one week ago my six line started to beat up my fire fish for no notable reason. The tank is a 55gal and has been up and running appro. 2 years with the same inhabitants. Nothing new. The fire fish just hung out in the column very peaceful. Wrasse can be pushy, and chased her everywhere fins shredded and had been hiding in rock. He has now finally coming out and eats pretty good. (Feeding Beth's chum- love this stuff) Fins seem to be healing. He just sits at bottom of tank away from flow but occasionally hiding in rock, not breathing fast and no apparent infection(s), kinda leans on side of tank. Does he seem to be on the path of recovery? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I don't know if this helps or not, but my Firefish lost his entire dorsal (I think thats what you call the one on top lol) and he was fine. Just fully grew it back a couple weeks ago. In my opinion, as long as he's eating, not struggling to stay off of the surface, and breathing ok then he should be fine. Keep us updated.
