problem with tank (please help)

Hello, I just got home and found my cc starfish eating one of my cleaner clams. The water was very cloudy and smelled very bad. I instantly did about a 15 percent water change. do I need to do anything else??? I just hope It isn't too late. I did find a dead emerald crab. thanks

test your water run fresh carbon and do more water changes.

remove anything dead. Sounds like you clam died and starfish found it which is a good thing. Check your ammonia and nitrite levels and continue water changes until everthing is back to normal. Be prepared to do waterchanges daily if ammonia or nitrites are present. If they are high you may have to remove your livestock into a hospital/qt.
