Hey guys,
Just added a Sebae Anemone to my 75 gallon tank. Did the temperature acclimation and everything and set him on the sand to let him move to where he wants, but he flipped over and now is face down. I was too scared to move him back up becuase I didn't know if I should. Is this normal??? Please help!
Thanks,
Justin:help:

Sometimes the current will do this before he acclimates himself, go ahead and flip him over and see if he stays put.
It may also be a reaction to your water quality. In my opinion it will take at least a couple of weeks for anemones to acclimate to your water conditions, I truly beleve they are ph sensitive, and ph swings differently in every tank. Double check your alk and calcium and ph ave. during the day.
Keep an eye on him but remember that it is a sensitive time for him. Sebea's in particular are touchy with regards to acclimation.
