Problems w/ Coralife CF 2x65 24"

Long Time follower first time poster
I bought this light used and it seemed to work fine. The lights are on a timer but the problem is they don't always come on when the timer turns them on. Somtimes it'll be a few minutes, few hours, or sometimes it'll just go the day with out coming on. Tried to "jiggle" the wireing but doesn't seem to have any affect. Should I just take this light to a nice quiet pasture somewhere or is there a way to solve this problem?

When I had pc lighting it always needed to be jiggled... bulbs, wires, etc... mine went on the "list" and sold -- gave me an excuse to upgrade to MH and t-5's.

it could be just about any thing. it could be the ballast, end caps, wires, or even the bulbs.
