Problems with fish jumping out

I recently bought a new diamond watchman goby and the next day I found out he had jumped out. I am thinking there might be a problem with stray voltage. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to check for that. I've had watchman gobies before and never really had problems with them jumping out. I'm wondering if I should just get glass tops would that be a good idea?

Diamond Gobies are known to be jumpers.
Consider an eggcrate top for your tank. Glass tops can cut down on oxygen exchange and hold in heat.

Thanks a lot, is eggcrate that white plastic stuff used for holding frags?
Yes. Places like home depot sell it. I'll let you in on my little secret: The large sheets are almost always chipped at the edges at Lowe's and Home Depot. You're not going to need all of it, so buy the chipped sheets, take them up to customer service and get 50% off the sheet. Contractors and the like can't use the chipped sheets in lighting fixtures (which is what they're meant for), so most places are glad to sell them to us fish geeks for cheap just to get rid of them.
