problems with wet dry filter

hi i am setting up my 110g tank and trying to balence the amount of water comeing down and what i am sending back to the tank, with very llittle success i was wondering if anyone had any tricks or advice to help me keep it level. im afradw of it eather overflowing of going dry and killing my pumps.

If your pump is sending too much water back to the main tank you could get a tee and attach some plumbing back to wet/dry and put a ball valve on it. This way if you open the ball valve a little not all the water will be going back to main tank as some of it will be dumping back into the wet/dry. Hope that helps. I just set this up with mine and im gonna post some pics tonight when I get home
