Problems with zoo's

I got these Zoo's about a year ago, and they just haven't done well. I'm not sure what kind they are so if anyone knows please help. Now only about half open up and I've lost a few.

When they are closed do they look normal or perhaps have white speckels on them?

They look normal, no white specks. I moved them up higher in the tank. They seem to be better they are all open now...well see.

what you need to do is move him around you tank and if he dose bettter in one spot leave him but if he dosent move him till he finds a spot he likes
