i got my porcupine puffer on Fri Feb 23rd and it has not ate. I have tried two diffrent kinds of frozen foods. The marine cusine and some frozen brime. It spends most of its time at the bottom of the tank hiding in the rocks. This morning he was laying on top of one of the rocks and was kind of purple from the top part. My other fishes are doing fine swimming around and eating so i don't know what the problem would be. If any one has any ideas please help.
dose not eat

Was this fish out of water at any time during transition from the store to your aquarium? Give some details about your tank set up? Size, etc. Also, post up your water readings. Has the fish puffed?
Also, try offering something more substantial like bite size chunks of shrimp (with shell) that you can get from your seafood counter at the grocery store.

yea was the fish out of the water? and you shouldnt really feed brine bcause it has no nurtitional value its kinda like packaging material. have you been feeding hard shelled food to wear down his beak? it could be overgrown and he wont be able to eat properly. you should try feding krill or shrimp as beth mentioned. or if you can get them saltwater feeder shrimp.
