Promoting LR growth?

I finally got LR for my cycling tank. I am hoping to seed the dead coral in the tank now. Therefore, I want to do whatever I can to promote the health/growth of the new LR.
I have already put in bulbs designed to promote coral and invertebrate health. One is blue, I don't remember which bulb came from which package.
My questions are: should I use Coral-Vite(coral/invertrebrate vitamin/mineral) to promote the LR, and would this product's use interfere with the tank's cycle?
Thanks.

do not do anything until yor tank has been cycled........... leave the lights off the first week, do partial water change, then start putting lights on for only 2- 4 hrs a day for the next couple weeks, do water test, do water change 20%, then start leaving lights on 4-6 hrs a day for next week or so,,,,, build up to a full 8-9 hrs a day untill you start getting brown and green growth, (cycle near compleation) get a cleanup crew and set back and enjoy watching them work!!!!!

Thanks krazzydart.
So I am sure what your suggesting, you don't think I should use anything to promote the LR now; and you suggest progressive light exposure during the cycle.
