This brings up an interesting subject for me. I read a lot about saltwater aquariums online and in books and magazines, then when I go to the LFS to ask for something or I talk to another reefer in person about something. I end up feeling like an idiot because I am prounouncing something completely wrong.

I had some trouble with the lights... I hear some people say actinics with a silent c, such as a-tinics. Then someone calls it acktinics, pronouncing the c, and I feel like a moron as well.
Also, Ive heard people say halide and Ive heard people say haylide. :notsure:

Thanks JW- I kinda like it, I am thinking about blowing up the original in an 8x10, They were only about 5 1/2lbs when that was taken, They are now three weeks away from their first birthday and tearing the house apart on a daily basis lol!
Here is the actual picture, if you look close enough, they are screaming their heads off, not happy about the photo op.

yeah, i still can't pronounce aptasia...maybe not even spell it right for that matter :D i can spot it in a tank pretty good though

I like this thread. I can't ever pronounce fish things right. :rolleyes:
