I have a 20 gallon FOWLR tank and was wondering what type of lighting i should have for it. I'm going to be buying a new hood cause i have a hinged glass right now and i know there not good for what i have. Any suggestions? Thanks

If it is going to remain FOWLR, you don't need to change out the lights at all, NO lighting is fine. Some people like how their tanks look with brighter lights like PC or VHO, and your coraline algae will probably grow better with stronger lights, but for a FOWLR there is no need to upgrade the lighting.

I was also wondering if i need a powerhead? FOWLR tank 20 gallons. Any suggestions on which one if i do need one
