I have yet to upgrade my lights and am waiting on dry rock from another site.
When I get the rock what light would be best for algae growth
2X 65W PC Bulb 12000K.or
2x 65W PC Bulb True Actinic or both?

That all depends on what type of algae you are trying to grow. I would assume coraline algae?

3-6 months, plus proper calcium and alk level will cause coraline algae to spread, if u start off with some liverocks to begin with. ur lighting is sufficient for hard algae to grow.
