Protein Skimmer and cycle...

Do I just need to put my protein skimmer on when the LR gets in or do I wait until after the cycle?? :notsure:

There are a lot of people that say to turn the skimmer on during the cycle. However there are just as many if not more, like me that say keep it off until the cycle is over. During the cycle you aren't as worried about water quality and organic waste as you are when you tank is established.
