I would have to sya that the bak pak is, I have a seaclone and it works fine but it is a like a kia to a cadillac when comparing a seclone to a higher end skimmer do some research on the two, take a look at the prices, go from there. I got my seclone off ---- for $65 NIB, down the road I will probally upgrade

I've heard a lot of good things about the bak paks, the major difference is that the sea clone is obviously straight out skimming and therefore will do an excellent job because of the length of the skimmer and in turn the micro airbubbles have more area to grab more macromolecules.
The bak pak as I recall is sort of like a mini wet/dry where it has some media and serves as a biological function in addition to skimming, so because the unit is smaller in comparsion to the sea clone skimmer in length, the bak pak skimmer will not do as good as the sea clone.
So it's alittle of everything or concentration on skimming.
