Protein skimmer for a 29g

I am thinking about getting a protien skimmer for my 29g FOWLR, since it appears that they are a necessity. What are the good names out there? I am willing to pay for a good one since I agree with everyone that quality will pay off in the long run. Thanks.

Most people will recommend the Aqua-C remora hob skimmer and Im sure its fine, personally I run a Seaclone 100 on my 20 gallon tank and am quite satisfied with it so far. The difference between the two is about $60.00 with the Aqua C being $60.00 higher than the seaclone (depending of course where you buy it, and whether it's online or a retail store).

How loud is your sea clone?
If anyone has the Remora are they loud?
Thanks

I dont find it loud at all. Because the pump is in the water, that muffles the pump noise, and all you really hear is the water and air mixture, Im quite satisfied with the noise level too, I had a multiskimmer, and it was VERY LOUD! because the motor was in the housing itself, so it was extremely loud as well as the mixing chamber was in the unit for the water and air.
Like I say, Im satisfied with the seaclone. It may not be the most effective (as some people say), but it's doing a great job for me and my tank.

Never had the Aqua C but people do say they work well for a small tank.
I've used the seaclone and it skims just fin but my only problem with it was it was very intrusive on the look of the tank to have a maxi 12 and a large prefilter pad sitting along the back of the tank. I just didn't like looking at that so I put in a sump and put the seaclone in there.
on a 37g tank I run a CPR back pak which skims very well but comes with a POS rio ph that you need to clean constantly, and the bak paks are known as bubble factories (mine wasn't but so many others have said so there probably is something to this).
