i have a seaclone 100 protein skimmer that has been making many very fine white bubbles in the collection cup, now i was under the impression that it should be like black tea, what should i do to get the black tea affect?

If you can decrease the amount of air intake. This will dry up the skimmate and the nasty black will have to make its way to the top for colection.
On a side note, what you are getting is not bad. It is just a different type of skimmate. It is six of one half a dozen of another really. Different schools of thought on this.
