hello, i added a protein skimmer on friday. i unplugged it today, i couldnt take all the bubbles it was putting back into the tank. it is installed in a wet/dry sump and was returning way too many bubbles into the tank, i got concerned that i would harm the fish. has anyone had this problem? any thoughts? thanks! brian.

I have a seaclone 100 and it throws a lot of bubbles if the adjustments arent just right and even then throws some out. I will leave this for someone else that might have better luck with them. you might even post this in the reef forumns as well.

thank you for the advise, i will see if anyone else has any ideas as well. the bubbles were vast and were covering about the top 15/20 inches of the tank, there were too many. i am curious is a lot of people have this problem?

I have heard of a lot of the skimmers have this type of problem some are more sensitive to the settings though/
