Protein Skimmer Recommendation

I am setting up a 120 gallon fish only tank and am looking for a protein skimmer that can go into (not take up much room) or hang onto my sump. Any recommendations??
I was going to get the Coralife Super Skimmer 220 gallon but have read some pretty bad reviews.
Thanks!

You seem to be in the same boat as me. I have a Seaclone that I had in my old tank. With the new tank I cant hang it on the back as the canopy is in the way and its too tall for the sump. I looked at the coralife but have only heard bad stories on it. I just purchased yesterday a Octopus NWB-150 skimmer for $185 including s&h. I heard a lot of good things on the octopus. Do a search and you will find the site I got mine.

If you want a really good skimmer, small footprint, I would recommend the Tunze models.
They are high end gear, but do come at a price... But well worth the money.
The Tunze 9010 or 9015 would probably work great for you.
Don't settle for cheap or mid stream, as I found out, you will eventually end up buying the better stuff, then need to sell off your mid range gear. Believe me, that has happened to me.

Well - I just realized my options seem to be limited as my sump is 36x12 but the area for returns and skimmer is only 11x11 inside. Can anyone recommend a sump that I can put external to the sump? I have 2 mag-7 pumps that have to go inside for return. Also, any good place to find directions on how to set this up?
Thanks!

I don't know what you SHOULD get, but by experience I can tell you what NOT to get...%%
Sea clone brand
CPR back Pac
Coralife skimmer
I have owned and hated each one...the first two do not skim well, the last was created from some evil technician who loves micro bubbles. They created a contraption that will always make plenty of them...in an effort to stop the bubbles...it has now overflowed 2 Xs.
