Hey everybody,
I've been reading the messageboard since I've started my tank, so thanks everybody for sharing your knowledge.
Anyways, does a water change affect protein skimming? I have a Sea Clone 100...I know, I know...in a 25 gal. After playing with the air hose for days, I finally got it to start skimming. Yesterday, I decided to wash the intake sponge and do a 4 gal water change. I just checked the collection cup, and nada. Did the small water change really clean up the water that much, or is it the crap Sea Clone? I've been adjusting the air again, but still no skim funk. Thanks.
