My tank is 125 gallons but I may upgrade so I want this to be a skimmer I can use on a bigger tank when I upgrade. also what should I get for a pump? I am going to order this this week so any help would be appreciated.

theres 1000 topics on this if you use the search, youll find LOTS of opinions!!! also iwaki pumps seem to be the best pump goin if you dont care abotu money.
Tony Detroit's guide that he just wrote in this forum, gives a good rundown on good skimmers and pumps by brand, so look there also!!

Tony is a big fan of the GEO models
Euroreef has a new series the ES which is the same as the CS but they use a cheaper acrylic, same model pumps etc.
Also, Euroreef had a spin off company. ASM makes skimmers similar to Euroreef. Again they use cheaper acrylic, same pumps ect. Half the cost of Euro.
Don't know much more about ASM but to me they sound comparable. I mean pumps are the same, the tubing is different.

The ER CS8-1 would probably be the largest ER skimmer you could fit into your space. It would also be large enough to handle an upsized system.
Another option is a Beckett skimmer. My Reef Creations makes some nice Beckett skimmers that are short enough to fit into your space. Barr Aquatic Systems also has a very nice Beckett at a similar price to the MRC. Be sure to use an external pressure rated pump if you go with a Beckett skimmer (Iwaki MD55RLT is a great Beckett pump).
