protein skimmer

Any suggestions on how long each day a protein skimmer should be run. I am setting up a new tank and would like any input regarding skimmers. I have purchased a super skimmer for 125 gal. The tank I am setting up is 65 gal.

Every minute you have fish in your tank.

You can't tell your fish to hold on a few minutes while you fire up the skimmer before they poop or pee.

The only time I turn mine off is when I put "Marine Snow" Phyto in, and that's only for an hour. Great chance to clean it then.
