skimmer started throwing fine bubbles lots. I had the skimmer 3 mths with no problems. Nothing new to the water

Bubbles can be stressful for fish depending on other condition. Sorry I don't have ability to help you with the skimmer issue as I don't have mine installed yet, but hopefully someone will help you.

how often do you clean it? in sump? may need to adjust water lrvrl/valves

Clean it, check for leaks, VENTURI SYSTEM?, Adjust air intake flow accordingly.

you can put a filter sponge where the bubbles are coming out and it should knock it down if its posing a problem for you. my skimmer is in the sump and doesnt throw bubbles into the tank. but my old nano skimmer had millions and it never bothered anything, just aeriated my tank.
