Protein Skimmer

Could anyone give me advice on what kind of Protein Skimmer they would use for a 75 gal. tank. It's fish only, but I just ordered lr and it will have dsb. I'm not sure which protein skimmer to buy. Thanks!

I started out using a Skilter on my 55 gallon tank, and then swithched to the Prizm. I like it well enough, and it does a good job once I got the hang of it. I just picked up the glass to build a 75 gallon tank, and I think I will go with the Berlin System, I have heard good things about it.

For my 55 I liked the cpr bac pac skimmer(mine is a cpr bacpac 2r...reef type) it performs very well but may be under rated for a 75. Berlin systems are highly rated and seem to be good options. There are a large number of skimmers available......maybe a search for skimmers will provide readung material for a few days... <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />
When I up-grade to a larger system berlin will be a top option for me.

Sorry it took so long for me to respond. I am too busy lately! Anyway, thanks. I have been so into this tank and buying sand and lr that my husband is now looking to see what the heck I am doing all the time! Now I have him right into this also. Anyway, he is building me a nice protein skimmer and sump. He can build me one that is a lot nicer than I want to spend money to buy. Thanks again.
