Protein Skimmer

1) Buy an inexpensive one now and replace later with Berlin when I have the bucks?
Prism or Seaclone?
Will either one put micro bubbles into my tank? (I have a Skilter... my fish HATE that).
2) Save my money for a month or two and buy a Berlin Turbo?

So maybe a Berlin? What about the Berlin Airlift? Inexpensive... goes in the tank... uses an airstone.... I just can't have all the micro bubbles roaming around my tank.

stick with the skilter, until you can get a better skimmer, teh airlift is another marginal skimmer(i would not even purchase one) and IMO no better than a skilter

I can tell you from experience that the seaclone will spill tiny bubbles when first setup.
After that though IMO you will have yourself a good skimmer.

Berlin Classic Turbo. I've had one for about two years and only had one problem with it. The impeller in the pump was bad. They replaced it at no cost with a newly designed better one. Sent it right to my house and I had it in about a week. Other than that, I've had no problems with it ever. It was worth the $200.00 investment.
