Protein skimmer

hello all ! my mini hang on tank protein skimmer is producing a lot of micro bubbles could anyone help me with this?

Which skimmer do you have? Also has your water level dropped a bit?

I have an aquatic life mini internal skimmer. it has not dropped It has been making micro bubbles since I have purchased it

You can put some sort of sponge over the return which will help with the mice bubbles.

is there any way to totally get rid of them?

I have had skimmers that created them all the time and skimmers that don't. The tiny bubbles are part of what makes a skimmer work. The problem is sometimes they get back into the tank. You can get bubble traps which are essentially a box the skimmer dumps into before it goes into your tank. I only use in sump skimmers now. I still get microbubbles but they don't make it back to the tank.
