I know this has probalby been a long disputed problem but i am starting to worry wether or not I should purchase a new skimmer. I now have a sea clone but I am hearing alot of negative stuff about them if not a sea clone what is the suggested skimmer. I am lookin at havin a bout 200 bucks to spend on one. Why so many negative opinions about the sea clone.

Anthem, are you talking about the Berlin from Red Sea or the Prizm? Because the Berlin has a way higher flow rate. The Prizm is the little cheapo skimmer with no flow rate.

Anthem,
The Berlin has a RIO 2100 pump that pumps 692 GPH. Where do you get that it only has a flow of 110 GPH? I have had this skimmer in the past and it was a great skimmer.
rabid frog,
I would suggest looking at <a href="http://www.myreefcreations.com/skimmers.html" target="_blank">http://www.myreefcreations.com/skimmers.html</a>
<a href="http://www.superskimmer.com/Display%20Tank%20Info.htm" target="_blank">http://www.superskimmer.com/Display%20Tank%20Info.htm</a>
Both of these are great skimmers. I think that companies make better in-sump skimmers than hang-ons. I don't know why, but they do.

I definetly would recommend the Euro-reef, its probably the best skimmer out there, some of my friends have one and it works great!!!
