Hi I have a Reef octopus hang on the back BH 100 protein skimmer and I've been using it for about a month now with no problems. Today i went to change the full cup and when i put the cup back in and turned it on the cup filled up in about a minute with bubbles and water. I was told to lower the air valve and the bubbles will not come in as strong but i can't seem to find the "air valve." I also took the skimmer apart and put it back together just to see if it would do anything and it didn't. If anyone knows of a solution please let me know.
