protien skimmer

:notsure: Ok i got a good answer on the last question now i have one more for a fish only tank do i need a protein skimmer right away or can i put i t off for a few weeks this aquarium has put alot if hurt in my pocket but i dont regret it one bit. I have enjoyed getting my aquarium started and cant wait to put the fish in and get it rolling so Guys and gals give me a helping hand THANX

you do not NEED a skimmer and you can run without one, but I would recommend you buy one.

Well if you have a lot of live rocks they would help a lot but either than that don't really need one for fish only tanks.

I would say you should be able to live without one for a while. I would recommend getting one, though. When you do stay away from the cheap ones (trying to save money) because you will only have to get a better one that doesn't need to be adjusted every day or just plain stop producing like it should after a few months.
