protien skimmer!!!

i dont have a protien skimmer in my tank (55) . i have been thinking about getting one . i have live rock, foxface tang, sergent major,maroon clown, arrow crab, dwarf lion, and blenny. should i get one and how to use it ? are they hard to put on? sorry so many ? but i dont know that much about them , but i bet i could use one !!!!

skimmers are fantastic, they allow you to have a much better tank. if i was going to have only one peice of filtration equiptment it would be a skimmer, in my case a berlin turbo
