protien skimmer

im planing on building my own protien skimmer for my 135 and was wondering what type is the best?

down draft is the best, but it's ganna be a hard 1 to build. im still trying my self........ some parts are hard to find in my area.

Here's a pic. It is a cross current run with a Tetratech deepwater airpump. Works great so far.

Can you make the skimmer body (part B) out of the same thing you made the Collection cup part (part J) from. would it hurt any thing?
