protien skimmer

I have been trying to find a decent skimmer for my 10 gallon. I don't want to stick the whole skimmer in the tank, i would like a piggy-back unit. I stand firmly by the assumption you buy crap you get crap. so with that said what is the best skimmer i can buy? thanks in advance.

I own the Red Sea Prizm skimmer for my 18 gallon. I would look in to the back pack though. I've also heard good recommendations on it.
Another one you could look in to is the Aqua C Remora HOB protein skimmer, it is slightly different from the rest of the skimmers because it uses a different method of skimming and from what I've read about it it is pretty quiet. The pricings are around 150 to 170.

lol i used a aqua-c for about a month (it was my friends and his tank was down) but i just hae a small tank so i use an in tank berlin airstone skimmer. It works great but I would buy the remora if i had more funds.
