With the state in financial crisis Jerry Brown, the guy we used to call Jimmy Carter's dumb little brother last time he trashed the state is hard at work making things better. He just signed 4 important bills.
One prohibits local governments from requiring employers to check the residency status of applicants using E verify
The next one prohibits law enforcement from impounding the cars of unlicensed drivers, reason being a high number of those caught were illegals
The third gives illegal aliens in state tuition at California colleges.
So with the state facing bankruptcy Brown and the Democrats who dominate the legislature do everything in their power to accommodate people who don't pay their fair share of taxes, use a high number of public services and have no legal or moral right to be in the country.
But take heart folks. Brown did sign a law making it illegal for people under 18 to use a tanning bed.
Oh, he also made it legal for a girl 12 years old to take the HPV vaccine without her parent's knowledge.
