ive had a 5-6" niger a 2.5" picasso and 2 1.5" 4stripe damsels in a 75g for some time now... i inherrited a bicolor psuedochromis... it was in its own 20gal hex tank for some time but i wanted to get an eel so i tried to put it in the 75g... i was worried the triggers would go after it.. but thye just kind of looked at it and ignored it... however i heard screaming coming from the tank like i have never heard before... one of the damsels was chasing the psudo around the tank.. exhibiting extreme agression towards it... the saltwater compatibility chart says damsels and pseudos are find together.... i took him about and put him back in his own tank.. should i attempt to put him back in?

could try but will probs be same problem.
damsels are DEVIL FISH.
they look cute and colourful but honestly they are devils!
if im honest, you should put the damsels in with the eel and put the psudo in with the trigger.
damsels are too quick for the eel to get and wont go near the eel itself.

I fully agree. Damsels are satans spawn. I had 6 when starting my tank and ended with 2. cannibalists. Doubt they'll ever get along. Good idea about putting them in with the eel though. Should be a worth while attempt.
Thanks,
Eric

Had a purple psuedo in a 55g with a 4 stripe, blue devil and blue w/yellow tail for 3 years and he held his own just fine. Still have all of them but they are in my 150g now for another 3 years. Psuedo's are tough and he will adjust. I would try moving the rocks around or chase the damsel with a net for about 5 minutes to get him scared crapless then add the psuedo. He'll be too freaked out to mess with the new guy.
