Psychotic Maroon Clown Attacks!!!

Ok, so recently, my yellow-stripe maroon clown snapped, and until they make some sort of fishy Prozac, I'm gonna need to figure out what to do about this guy. I've recently started building up in corals, and this guy is being SUCH A PAIN!!! I have a massive BTA on the top left side of my tank (30 gallon) which he adores and rarely ever leaves alone.
However, I have had problems with a couple corals I try to put on the left side of the tank. I got a long-tentacle plate coral a couple months ago, which he seemed to tolerate rather well (with the exception of flipping sand onto it with his tail... but that's excused because he's an idiot and does it to everyone in the tank).
However, the problem got worse when I tried to drop a Kenya tree in on his side of the tank (god-forbid). He kept biting the branches and he would actually bite the frag and flip it off the rock I would rest it on! I gave in and moved the Kenya to the right side (I'm weak. I know).
But now the problem persists with my new pipe organ!!
He is biting it and trying to flip it off, and since this guy is much more fragile than a Kenya, I'm starting to flip out. If something happens to this pipe organ, I'm going to cry, because I have never seen such a nice piece before... I snagged it the moment it came into the LFS.
Anyways, if anyone has had similar situations or some suggestions, I would really appreciate hearing them. Thanks!

i would epoxy a birdnest frag down and mine would pull it loose and toss it to the bottom. it will bite me if i put my hand in the tank within a foot of his anenome(sp) except for a leather the his anenome is under it has a good 6-7 inch circle around it with nothing

Mine does it also if i put anything in the vicinity of his beloved anenome. I now have to wait till the lights go out and he is sleeping to glue something to a rock so it hardens before the lights come back on in the morning and works better then epoxy. If i try to glue something and the glue doesn't set completely, he pushes or bites it off the rock before the glue sets hard
I have a nice acro he head butted off the rock until i glued it while he was sleeping. Next morning he got a running start, and bounced right off the acro. He left it alone after that

remember not near his anemone!! funny how crazy some clowns can get especially the maroons. most people that have them have told me that they just keep everything at least a foot away from the anemone the clowns hosting that was clown happy corals wont get hurt if anemone decides to move and everyone happy!

No, you can use super glue to glue them down. The gel works best.

Yeah, crazy glue (gel is easier to manage) works just fine and doesn't hurt any inhabitants - as long as they don't get it on their snouts.

Clowns can get very territorial near their homes. My GS Maroon also attacked any coral I tried to place near his anemone.

My Clarki was bloodthirsty, it went from nipping and circling to outright biting me. He got large enough to break skin and he had to go.
Absolutley tenacious about thier host when they get to be 3 or 4 inch. Pack a whollop of a bite too.

In my 30gal tank I have three B&W clowns for 2+yrs. The female who is also very protective started to nip at me. How dare I bother her and her galaxea coral. Scared the living crap out of me. I thought I brushed up against something. The g/f looked at me funny trying to figure out what just happened. I told her one of the clowns just bit me. She laughed like crazy. Now when I go in I bring my turkey baster with me as a defense. A net is to big and bulky.
Now she is over protective of her green bta.

Unfortunately, I guess, it is normal behavior...and be forewarned, in such a small tank it can get much worse. That is a small tank for this fish, and it may ultimately decide the whole tank is hers, case closed. Any other fish or coral is at risk. Even if you glue this down, she may still nip it to oblivion. Be prepared for that.

Hmm... If I end up having to return her, would a black and white or a perc be safer?
