Hi all, is there a way to keep a puffer fish from eating your crab/snail clean-up crew? Possibly frozen crab cubes or something?
Looking to get a puffer, but I need my clean-up crew too.
Thanks

UH no,, other than to pray to neptune that it doesnt eat them all, because it will eat some of them if not all. And just think of this,, you have your own cleaning crew,, its called your 2 hands :)

To be fair though, Puffers might go after your hands too

Yeah; crabs are cute, but hardly essential. CUCs have been a very successful marketing item; nice, but you sure don't need them. BTW, I'd think feeding them crab would just give them an increased appetite for the stuff. Puffers eat crabs and there's no way around it.

When I had my porc puffer I somtimes think he would thank me for trying to keep a clean up crew as they were wonderful snacks to chomp on in the middle of the night.

Lol not a chance. The puffer will eat all of them. I dropped a turbo snail in my aquarium once and it was in the puffers mouth before it hit the sand bed.
