Puffer has cloudy eye

I just moved him into my qt tank and am waiting to hear what I should do. Only one ey and nothing else.

Maracyn II would most likely help. I am assuming you cycled the qt, and the water conditioins are good. Diet and good water may fix it alone, but I am a fan of Maracyn II stuff works great IMO.

Before we start treating this fish, how did he get the clouded eye? Is he a new addition? If it is one eye and it is only clouded then you really didn't have to remove him from the display. Add vitamins to his food to boost his immune system. He can heal himself.

no he is not a new addition I have had him for about 3 months he was one of my first sw fish. Yes its only one eye. No idea how he got the eye problem just looked at him one day and it was cloudy. I have started feeding him some food called (rod's food predator blend) that already has nutrients added to it. I have started treating him I went to my lfs and they recomended me some tc tetracycline made by api. second day of treatment tomorrow it says to do a 25% water change and add more so if im doing something wrong let me know b4 tomorrows water change. So I can fix it. Eye doesn't look much different, but I am hopeful that it is going to get better.

ok so ... ive continued treatment with the tetracycline stuff eye looks a little bit better, BUT now after staring at him for a long time there are tiny white spots all around his eye oh great. So is this the flukes, black ich? What should I do discontinue the tetracycline? continue? Start something else? Prime 311 I think you where correct. Tried to take pics, but camara wouldn't participate kept glaring up.

Sorry to here about ur Puffer. Mine had an injury due to getting stuck in an intake. He also had a cloudy eye. I just fed him vitamin soaked foods and let him heal himself. I know this doesn't help u now.
