Puffer looks bruised ??????

Hey all my stripped dog face has some irregular shaped brownish looking color to his skin i just noticed it when i went to feed right now but he's eating and swimming fine and none of the other puffs have anything ot of the normal look to them. Is he coming down with something or what is that? Oh yeah the discoloration is on the white of his belly and all water parameters are good. ??????????????????????

No clues huh? Well today its still there but a little less dark in color i still have no idea what it is, but he's still eating and still very active, i called the LFS and they said it doesn't sound familiar but if i bring him in they will look at him so if i don't get a response today i guess ill take him around tommorow till some one can tell me whats up.

ok i guess no one here knows either, the LFS said they havent seen it before but tried to sell me meds? whats up with that? $$$$$$$$$ but they didnt get mine, so we are on our way to the not so LFS the guy who runs it is a marine biologist so hopefuly he will know.

Terry B, before i pulled him out of the tank he had not been netted for several months so i dont think thats it the shape is like three quarters of a horse shoe shape and runs from front part of belly to just around past the the rear side of the belly he has no prob eating and is very active but it looks like a bruise or some thing its not raised skin is not torn or wrinkly or anything else weird just discolored. By the time i finally got to the pet store in Visalia it was closed by mabey 5 minutes, so he went on a 45 min drive each way for no reason so i dont think ill be doing that agian. I see no change in behavior but want to know what the heck it is and will it go away totally?

Hey Terry B are the worms internal or external? I'm feeding the garlic soaked food and he's not crazy aout it but he loves the krill so he's eating it. I hope it works

no he eats everything brine krill shrimp squid blood worms octopus mussels ghost shrimp! What else should i include in his diet ?
