puffer problem

my spiny box puffer has developed little white spots over its entire body including its eyes. there was a starfish that dies in there for a day or 2. dont know if that coulda caused anything. u cant seee from the pics except for th efins. is this a big problem? should i give a freshwater bath??

unfortantly youve got ick
if you got a hospital tank move your puffer immediatly
if you dont find a place to remove all of your invertebrates and treat with copper
I think a freshwater dip would be a good start to

see "hypo-treatment" or "hyposalinity" for treatment in the disease forum. hospital tank would be a good idea if you dont have one already. that is a tough species of puffer to keep though also. but good luck with everything, hope all works out.

i have inverts so hypo and copper wont work for me. are there any meds that work that r safe?? i read that Quick Cure has worked for some.
