puffer vs anemone

so my porcupine puffer should be here around wednesday. i have 2 tanks set up and wanted to start him in the larger because the smaller one is having a random spike in nitrites, so just to play it safe fr awhile, ima put him in the big tank even if he messes with the lionfish
now i understand they eat crabs and snails and stuff and will munch on there shells so i will remove them temporarily, but what about my anemone? its considered an invert, but will the puffer mess with it and bite it?
my anemone is kinda outta wack as is, so i dont wanna strain it even more or have it eaten alive

I dont think a puffer will mess with an anemone.

i have had a porc before, just never with an anemone, protein skimmer and filters and UV sterilizer are all set up and waiting
