All fish need a varied diet and (IMO) a vitamin supplement. Also, clowns are omnivores and need some greens. The puffer will probably eat anything. Try Formula I & II, spirulina loaded brine shrimp, Marine Cuisine, etc. These are all frozen foods, but a good pellet is easy and nutritious as well. Add some Selcon, or similar vitamin, to the defrosting food once in a while.
