I'm not too sure if that will cause to high of an ammonia spike, but if i did burry him out so i can keep it as small as possible

Well if you did and it is now 10:05 I would guess you either tried to find it or gave up. Are you sure it did not jump out of the tank (it happens to all of us look around the back of the tank). I doubt a fish would allow itself to be buried unless you poured the sand on top of it. Do you have any decorations in there if so it may have been upset (it is a new fish) and be hiding. I think and hope you will report that it has re appeared or you found it on the floor. But let me know.

Still havent found the little bugger, but the tank is pretty murky after I stirred the sand (it's southdown, so it's real cloudy). Looked on the floor, no sign. If it is burried, its only a $4 fish, not a huge lose. My mom had to go to *****, and I remember that they had some saltwater fish there, so I went with her. And I was very suprised about how well it was doing. They even had clowfish with host anemomes. All the fish looked really heathy. So that place is a good emergency place if I ever need to get something for the tank really fast, it's alot closer than any of the lfs around here.

Mark, were the damsels in the 135? Do you have a glass support in the center of your tank? If you do check up on that. We had been missing a goby for a couple of days, I could not find him anywhere, I thought it had a hiddy hole under the rocks and I was just missing him when he came out, over the weekend we upgraded our lights, when we took the old ones off, we found the goby laying up on the glass, behind the lights, we couldn't see him with the lights up there...We figure he jumped up there and of course got stuck. Mystery solved. Bummer, he was one of my favorite fish.. Lisa

WHOA!! I found him swimming around in my tank, the water is still pretty cloudy after I stirred it up. I've gotten them both to eat Nutrafin Max which is good. I'll tell you guys more info when I get home from school. And Lisa- I dont have a center support, but I have, what the guy that we bought the tank from, a lip support.
