I feed my eel all the time by hand!!!!Till it commited suicide and jumped outta the tank!

Well....that might work if our tank wasn't 30" deep. LOL Little hard, even with a chair, considering it is on a stand. Plus, the niger is quite attracted to hands, a little too curious for our tastes.

the eel feeding tube looks to be about 18" long..

The feeding stick is 16" long the tube in the picture seems shorter but it is hard to tell. I would call them or e-mail them and ask them the exact size and whether it extends possibly (can't tell from picture). If not you will have to make one like I did using the stick and the rigid plastic tube to make it longer as I did mine is 27" long and works in my 45 like a charm. I had the long plastic laying around it was for the center of a tube for a ug filter I used to have. I have learned to save bits and pieces never know when you can make something out of them.
