You see, a cowfish is not a Puffer, but it is a Boxfish. And just so you know, boxfish contain a poison that can be released into the water. This poison can kill anything. If it gets spooked or scared it will release the toxin. I try to avoid most Boxfish species because they are big risks. With a 100 gallon tank, I don't see why it wouldn't work with 2 puffers. Depending on the size of the ppuffers and the time you put them with eachother. I have seen several puffers together living peacefully, so I would say it is possible.

Hm, possible I suppose but I would not try it. Why? because unless you get 2 females or a pair (and no one I know can --- them anyway) you leave yourself open to a big fight at some point. I have tried this before and only was successful once (with my Pork pair). Most Porks and Dogs do not like to compete with others of their kind for food in a tank and become very mean to each other which then becomes a all the time thing with them. Even my pair fight at dinner time and that is after being with each other since 1994. A dog with a Pork never the Dog will hurt the Pork at some point . Have you ever seen 2 dogs or 2 porks in same tank at lfs? Lion is correct about cowfish, don't try it not worth the risk of what it can do if stressed, sick, or dieing.
