Pump Flow Question!!! Need Help

Hey, I need some help with my pump flow. I have a sedra 2000, it pumps about 2000 gallons per hour, the sump that it is connected too can not flow that much. The pumps exit breaches off into 4 lines, 2 of them go back up to the tank, the other 2 go right back into the sump, ( I did not want to throttle back the flow so I did that instead) It is really noisy though, my contractor told me that he can install the pump below my place, it would be about 3 or 4 feet lower then the sump and about 10 feet away, how much will it slow the pump down, remember that I had those 2 returns going back into the sump. Will I have much flow problems, is there anything else I should be concerned with? Thanks, Justin

Justin,
Do have the pump curve showing the flowrate vs head pressure specs.
I don't have any info on this 2000 Sedra ? Sen ?

Is this the KSP-2000A? If so, I'm showing a max flow rate of 200g/h with a max static head of 4.5 ft. Are you sure you're getting the model number right? Or perhaps I'm looking at the wrong info...wouldn't be the first time. lol

I would like to clarify, I was not trying to say you were wrong, so please don't take it offensively, just trying to help :) With that much output, I can't imagine any problems with having your pump down a few feet further. It may in fact make it easier to regulate to have a little more head pressure on it, not to mention moving it out of your place will make it MUCH quieter. I would say go for it. Hope it all works well for you. Good luck!
