pump help

I have a small problem,at 4.30 this morning as I was leaving for work I went to check on my water (getting ready for water change).I took the lid off my trash can my pump is dead, all the salt is sitting on the bottom.I stirred it up ,put a air hose in it .
first is this water still good to use for a wc
second what type of pump will last so i can mix my salt & pump the water into the tank.

Water should still be fine.
I like mag pumps. Size depends on size of your water change container. I have run the same mag 5 in a 55 gallon salt water mixing container for 3 years.

sunday is when I added the salt to the water. my guess is the pump stopped right after I added the salt.
I got brave and took the pump apart got it to work again.
