pumping water back into the tank after change..

Another question, sorry guys...
When I do a water change, I was wondering what to use to pump the water from my new water bucket to my tank. Do you use pump that you hook up airline tubing to? if so, how do you? Didnt know if you can just submerg the pump...dont wanna get shocked...lol

i use a maxejet with a 1/2 tube that fits on the outlet

ok..i really feel dumb even asking..lol So you cant use a normal air pump...I assume.

no a air pump is just for air not ment togo in the water.

I add the water to the sump/fuge & it pumps the new water into the DT.
